Terms and Conditions

‘Events by RM’ reserves the right to admission/remove any service if any person who acts in a disorderly manner or towards any member of staff or any property of ‘Events by RM’. ‘Events by RM’ reserves the right to amend its Terms & Conditions without notice.

PAYMENT PERIOD

1a. The Customer/Client shall pay all Hire charges, deposit, delivery charges and any other sums payable under the Contract to ‘Events by RM’ in the manner agreed to the terms applied below.

1b. A Non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure a booking.

1c. Damage deposits are required for event/setup which are fully refundable, provided none of the goods are damaged of ‘Events by RM’.

2. The bare minimum of 30% is required to confirm a booking.

3. The Customer/Client is required to pay the outstanding payment on agreed with ‘Events by RM’ 4 weeks prior to the event/setup.

4. If customer/client intends to pay by cheque, they are required to pay a deposit and make

FULL payment four (4) weeks prior to the event/setup day.

PROVISION OF CANCELLATION

[‘Events by RM’ reserves the right to cancel due to the following conditions].

5. If the holding of the event is prevented due to any circumstances that is beyond the control

of ‘Events by RM’ [Force Majeure – in respect of either party, any event or circumstance which is beyond the reasonable control of that party including (but not limited to): act of God; industrial actions, war, terrorism, civil commotion, weather or environmental problems; power failure or explosion, fault or failure of any plant and apparatus which could not have been prevented by prudent operating practice; governmental restraint of any kind(Covid-19).

6. If the Customer/Client is not compliant with the required conditions of ‘Events by RM’.

7. If the Customer/Client makes a change to the booking after confirmation without providing

four (4) weeks notice prior to event date/setup.

**COVID CANCELLATIONS**

‘Events by RM’ reserves the right to withhold payments made however, will provide a full credited event/setup in accordance to the agreement and payment made via Customer/Client, (with possible fees applicable for amendments made).

CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER

8a. Clients/Customers are required to notify the Company regarding cancellations prior four (4)weeks to the date of the event/setup.

8b. Any notification within the four(4) week period results to a non-refundable deposit.

8c. Any damage deposit paid will be refunded within 5-7 working days, providing no damage

has occurred on goods of the company. (see •12. – Exceeding damage costs).

9. If the customer wishes to alter/adjust the services prior to a confirmed booking ‘Events by RM’ reserves the right to apply amendment fees.

10. If Customer/Client cancels without prior two (2) weeks notice and full payment has been made ‘Events by RM’ reserves the right to withhold 50% – 100% of the payment as hiring charge.

CONDUCT OF EVENT/FUNCTION

11. ‘Events by RM’ reserves the right to apply a fee(s) for any additional services required or any service altered after booking confirmation. 11a. Customers are required to pay a minimum of £100 (but not limited to) for every hour exceeding original booking period/per service.

12. Customers will be liable to bear the costs if any damage or loss is sustained to the

property/equipment during the ‘hire period’ including [if exceeding damage deposit].

13. Any queries regarding a function conducted by ‘Events by RM’ shall be notified on the day of the event and no later. ‘Events by RM’ will not take any responsibility after the event/setup has been orchestrated.

13a. All complaints must be given in e-mail at info@eventsbyrm.com within 48 hours of

the event/set
